Privacy

Oslo&Co (the City of Oslo's business promotion agency) is the data controller for this website. We collect as little personal data as possible.

What we collect, and why

• Brand Assets registration. To download full-size assets you provide your email address and company/organisation name. When you download a file we log the file, time, your company and IP address. We use this to give you access and to understand which organisations use the brand toolkit — an aggregate measure of the toolkit's reach.
• That is all. Browsing the site collects no personal data; we do not run advertising or third-party tracking.

Lawful basis

Registration and the download log rest on our legitimate interest in providing and measuring a shared public resource, and on your action of registering. You can object or ask us to delete your data at any time.

Who processes it

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage) and login emails are sent via Resend. Both act as our processors. We do not sell or share your data.

Retention & your rights

We keep registration and download records only as long as needed for access and reporting, then delete or anonymise them. You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to processing. Contact digital@osloandco.no.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (oc_gallery) that keeps you signed in after you register, so you can download without logging in again for 30 days. It carries no tracking and is not shared. We set no marketing or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to or decline.

Terms of use

The material in Brand Assets and the Toolbox — film, images, facts, logos and templates — is free to download and use to promote Oslo internationally. It is not for marketing your own organisation independently of Oslo. Please use the assets as provided and keep facts with their sources. The Oslo brand is owned by the City of Oslo (Oslo Kommune) and stewarded by Oslo&Co.
